So I've always stayed away from quartz movements due to battery replacement. I recently bought professional tools kit to replace batteries for my wife, but was once told by a repair rep you should never do these on your own as the seals should be professional replaced when watch is opened up. Is this true, I feel like it was so easy for me to replace the batteries on my own. Anyone service there own quartz watches? Have issues with seals. As a daily driver I think these would be a great buy. Replace battery every 2years and they work for a good 5-7 years. Thoughts?
HPizzy1Perhaps already mentioned but I believe the battery replacement is thus covered under warranty. If moisture enters the case, or if any other issues happen, you have all the touch points with authorized jewelers. I love an automatic watch just for this reason, but sometimes you just need a quartz! Hope this helps—I learned the hard way.
Yup agree a Quartz is good even just to learn with servicing them in-house. I did buy one just for this $199 is not bad in my opinion for something to work on and wear.
Hey everyone,
We're very excited to be working with Victorinox for our next Brand Spotlight. They have been a long time partner of ours and they're reputation for mechanical excellence goes back over 100 years to their original founding as a Swiss knife maker.
For this spotlight, we will be working directly with the North American subsidiary of Victorinox for fulfillment and part of that means we will only be shipping these watches to the US and Canada. I know this is a bit of a bummer for our international users, but we are always working to expand our collections to those of you outside of North America in the future.
Hey man, I just like the bags and purses. I don't need molle webbing on my underwear. But also I don't really about relics like analog watches, no offense. Drop tagged like 20 watches as EDC for some reason and it was fucking up my view. Clearly it was a mistake because they fixed it.

Best price for the metal bracelet on Amazon this AM was $340 so MD SAVES you $140--not bad.
If you prefer it on the leather strap, MD's price still beats Amazon's by $100--not bad either.
On the other hand, if you're not into the whole black-on-black look (ie: you're a traditionalist), Amazon is offering the stainless steel version for only $40 more.
Tough choice?
Not for me ;- )
Much better looking in straight stainless steel color shown below, but Amazon's price is $220 on this somewhat less attractive Black Ice version MD is offering.
The usual cautions apply--seek out other OTHER photos/videos rather than relying on sexy alternative fact rendered images!
RayFI don't mind the standard watch in steel; I do find a lot of black PVD watches can look on the cheap side; a little like black plastic. If the standard one is close to $100 we may have a starter, it is a good size; I kinda like the LED function.
