These are back! I absolutely love the Stardust. The Stardust to me sounds like it has better detail/clarity over the Pulse yet still has a wonderful amount of bass. I wanted a second pair as backup and saw these were out of stock, ended up having to order a SS Reference which is very similar but I 'think' I like the Stardust better and the paint job is the best so it certainly was worth forking over the extra money for. The Chu II seems like the better IEM these days but the Stardust to me still holds its own and I enjoy listening to it.
Do not assume that those are a "cheaper" starfield. They're just a recolored SSR with a new cable. If you were looking for the starfield experience for cheaper get the Aria.
QA seems meh on my pair. I have two SSRs already and love them and wanted a pair with a better cable. Cable is fantastic so far but my right earbud had very low volume and when I opened it to check it was because one of the internal wires was pinched in manufacture, and was split after opening it so now it doesn't work at all. I'm going to just fix it cause its a pretty easy solder job but was pretty frustrating that a brand new pair of IEMs didn't work right.
Q1 MkII work okay for them? if i am doing my calculations right, it seems like it may not? that seems wrong though. not very high ohm and high sensitivity seems like they'd be relatively easy to drive?
