I've been thinking about artist merch recently. Like when you go to a museum and you see licensed artwork reproduced on an umbrella or something. Has DROP thought about reaching out to mural artists and contemporary illustrators about reproducing their work? Artists like Kim Jung Gi (his estate might be interested), Yuko Shimizu, Okuda, Brendan Monroe, Imagine, even a painter like Gina Magid etc.. You could reach out to one of the mural festival curators, or go to Wynwood in Miami if you aren't comfortable. The individual licensing contracts might be time consuming, but the final product would be amazing.
I think it would be a way to 1. make better desk pads 2. draw new audiences 3. cash in on those interested in the contemporary mural arts and illustration scene.
Also I don't know if anyone here has the clout, but could someone reach out to Mead and see if they can make some laptop and tablet sleeves that look like trapper keepers? Same velcro closure and 90's graphics, just...
EDIT: It's back up now.
Hello folks. I've noticed that GeekHack.org has been for at least a week: https://www.isitdownrightnow.com/geekhack.org.html. Any news or updates on why that is?
Im looking fro some MT3 Keycaps profiles and even though the ones they have right now are pretty sweet , like the LOTR ones or the orange on black, im looking for more colors that match my keyboard.
Thank you all for your attention and have a lovely day!
What are some 55g linear switches that sound creamy and almost clacky?
I was recently looking to find some new switch to put into the custom YUNZII AL68 build, and I really need the perfect switch, because this is going to be my daily driver. I am looking for something in the medium price range, preferably from HMX, and I need it to be creamy/clacky. I also need the actuation force to be 55-60g.
Does anyone know when and where or how I can possible get this numpad? I have all the other sets but this one isn't available anywhere. Trying to finish a Q6 Max build for my wife and I have searched high and low and nothing. No reddit forum seems to have one for sale and no website or ebay listing has one either. If anyone happens to have a set they are willing to part ways with or if Drop decides to restock this set (I have seen bunches of people in the questions section of the product ask) that would be great.
I'm struggling to filter all the keycaps and figure out which keycaps are capable of backlighting. I have found side-lit ones, but I'd rather have the letters on the top. Can anybody help guide me... to the.. light?
I just bought the drop akatsuki indigo keyboard and it's perfect when the LED's aren't on. I have tried everything to turn off the LEDs but I couldn't. Does the keyboard not support turning off the LED or what?
I have drop alt v1 and I replaced the aluminum case with the drop alt ceramic case, however the problem is now i cannot see the rgb even with the diffuser. I can slightly see it on the north side of the diffuser but not the sides nor the southside. Please help.
Hello, I have received my new drop keyboard I was attempting to flash it using the Drop configurator software however when I do FN Left Control Backspace and use the flash function it disconnects. No matter what other flash option I choose my keyboard stops showing up in the configurator. The only option I found I can return to is the stock option. Sorry for my confusion I have never done this before.
Where to Find DSA (or Similar) Keycaps in ISO-CH/ISO-DE Layout?
Hey everyone,
I've been searching everywhere for DSA (or similar profiles like G20 or XDA) keycaps with an ISO-CH or ISO-DE layout, but I'm struggling to find good options. Most of what I come across is either:
Extremely expensive (costing more than my entire keyboard, which is an 80HE 😅), or
Unavailable / out of stock
I've already done a ton of research, but I feel like I'm hitting a dead end. Does anyone know of any stores, group buys, or vendors that might have something in stock ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙌
Thanks!
Best regards from switzerland

Hi everyone,
I have both the ALT v1 and v2 keyboards, and I've been trying to use QMK's OS detection feature to identify the operating system. However, I haven't been able to get it to work successfully.
Has anyone managed to get QMK OS detection working on an ALT keyboard? Or does anyone know if ALT keyboards even support this feature?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Looking to get the Drop CSTM80 Mechanical Keyboard need some suggestions
Right now my 'W' is key is going out in my K70 corsair and realizing the pain of having a keyboard with soldered switches just not in my area of comfortability to replace. So just want some suggestions. My primary use for the keyboard would be gaming so which switch set would be best. Are there key caps people would recommended my pc is a blacked out build so it would have to stay in line with that, and if possible would like to have the rgb shine through a bit more. Also is there any news of a full size board coming out, I know I'm a weirdo but you work as a bank teller for 6 years and using a 10 key for numbers is just better in every way. Any help is appreciated thanks
Hi Everyone,
I just bought my first mechanical keyboard (Wooting 80HE) and ordered the Geon Raws HE after watching a few YouTube videos—they sounded great. However, on my keyboard, they sound clacky as hell, and I actually prefer the Lekker 60 V2! They’re much quieter and sound better (in my opinion).
Right now, I’m using the PCR case because my Zinc case won’t arrive for another month (mid-March). Do you think that’s why the Geon Raws HE sound so off? I’m considering getting the Jades Pro, but I don’t want to waste more money on switches if it’s not necessary. Should I wait for the Zinc case and then decide? What would you do or recommend for someone who prefers thocky or silent keyboards?
I also have a question about keycaps. I’m struggling with typing—I’m used to working all day on an MX Keys S, but with the Wooting keyboard, I keep pressing multiple keys at once. Adjusting has been tough. Can you recommend a keycap profile that might help? Would DSA work, or do you have other...
