I have a Drop Alt keyboard and I'm having a problem where when my PC goes to sleep the keyboard will wake the system, but will not allow me to type in my password until I unplug it and plug it back in. The keyboard is plugged into a usb hub, which is then plugged into a usb port on my monitor. I've tried re-flashing the keyboard to factory settings, changing the power saving settings in device manager and even tried adjusting the power saving modes in the bios. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix I'm stumped.
I want to order the Black Speech Lord of the rings keycaps for my Corsair keyboard. I was wondering if the lettering on each cap is transparent so my RGB lights would still shine through them when it is dark in my room.
*Help* Screw in stabilizers not fitting in Dropshift V2 keyboard
I'm trying to build a mechanical keyboard with screw in stabilizers, I've build some mechanical keyboards with click-in stabilizers, never with screw in.
Somehow one of the pins of the metal top-part collides with the screw in stabilizer of the numpad "enter key". I already tried grinding of a bit of the pin that collides with the stabilizer, but unfortunately I can't make it fit/close properly.
You can see that the pin of the toppart leaves a mark on the bottompart of the stabilizer, see picture 2.
What am I missing?
Using Durock V2 in a Dropshift fullsize V2.
See pictures below, thanks in advance!
Want to build a Clicky Mech Keyboard. Where to begin?
Hello all. Am brand new to the idea of building my own keyboard. Have not a clue where to begin this process. I am a Sim Game enthusiast. American Truck Sim, DCS Flight Sim and goes from there. Need some real help on where to start for making my own Full Size, Clickey Mechanical KB. I want each key to have its own backlighting. Are there keys that are better than others for this? Is there a great spot on site for a person who has never even taken a keyboard apart? Let alone fixed or built one? I would like it to fit my theme of Red and Black.
Yet maybe have the option of changing things up a bit. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all kindly,
Durazell

Does the ALT v2 PCBA support USB-C e-marked cables?
Currently my ALT v1 does not work with e-marked USB-C cables. I was wondering if the v2 PCBA does support these types of cables (thunderbolt 4 cable for example)?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash.
The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi,
This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you
Does it check the entire matrix at once? Are there zones scanned sequentially left-to-right? etc.
I'm interested in the delay time between two simultaneously pressed keys (e.g. if C and V are pressed at the same time, is V registered 5ms after C? Are they registered at the same time?)
I need this info to help with frame perfect input in specific games
Fully configurable (MacOS) keyboards that ENTR case will fit?
I got a LOTR themed keyboard as a gift. It's my first mechanical keyboard and I love it. But of course its compatibility with Mac is pretty limited. I want to keep the LOTR themed case and keys, but I really want to be able to use all the keys (e.g. the function keys). Is there another keyboard I can get which is fully configurable for Mac AND that the case and keys from this one could be swapped onto?
Bonus question: Is there any chance of a firmware update or something to make the ENTR keyboards fully configurable on Mac? It's a huge bummer that they've made it so you can use most of the keys and then just called it good enough.
Hello,
after long waiting i got this new pcb and went to configure it. So after doing so running mdloader it goes 60sec countdown and when i press FN+B just types .....bbbbb.bbb.b. etc. So it looks like on my pcb doesnt have the b button configured (becuase it types b instead dfu) to go to dfu mode hence i cant flash the pcb. Any other way to flash the board please? It should be on b by default as it seems...so i dont know what is the problem here.
thanks
Is there any tkl keyboard that is either 84/87 keys and with the function button on the left side just like the laptop layout? Im looking for one that is simple in design and has a layout similar to most laptop's keyboard
